We believe Adventist Education is the best option for most families with children. Ellicott City Church will provide financial assistance to families who enroll their children in Atholton Adventist Academy, Baltimore Junior Academy or Spencerville Adventist Academy. In order to qualify for this assistance, families must meet all the following requirements:
1. Parents must be members in good standing at Ellicott City Church. In two parent families, both parents must be members of Ellicott City Church.
2. If parents plan to transfer their membership to Ellicott City Church, the transfer process must be completed before July 31 in order to receive the assistance for the first semester. Transfers that are completed after July 31 but before November 30 will be eligible to receive the assistance for the second semester.
3. Parents will be expected to be regular in attendance and return tithes and offerings to Ellicott City Church.
4. An Education Assistance Application must be completed and submitted to the Ellicott City Church Board for consideration and approval before any family will receive the Education Assistance.
The educational assistance amount will be equal to the difference in tuition the school would charge between a constituent member and a non-constituent member.
